The Institute of Language Studies (IEL) comprises three academic departments: Linguistics, Applied Linguistics and Literary Theory.
In courses offered in undergraduate and graduate programs, IEL stimulates the research in different domains of language and literature.
Undergraduate programs:
- Linguistics (Bachelor’s degree);
- Literary Studies (Bachelor’s degree).
- Portuguese (Teaching degree);
- Phonoaudiology (Bachelor’s degree).
Graduate programs:
- Applied Linguistics (Master and PhD);
- Linguistics (Master and PhD);
- Literary Theory and History (Master and PhD);
- Popularization of Science and Culture (Master).
